NOVENA TO THE MOST HOLY TRINITY (MOST POWERFUL NOVENA): DAY 5 – FOR TROUBLED FAMILIES

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Hymn

I bind unto myself today
the strong name of the Trinity
by invocation of the same,
the Three in One and One in Three.

I bind unto myself today
the power of God to hold and lead,
God’s eye to watch, God’s might to stay,
God’s ear to hearken to my need.

The wisdom of my God to teach,
God’s hand to guide, God’s shield to ward,
the word of God to give me speech,
God’s heavenly host to be my guard.

I bind unto myself the name,
the strong name of the Trinity

Of whom all nature has creation,

DAY FIVE PRAYER

(For troubled families)

Almighty and eternal God, Most Holy Trinity and Undivided Unity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, source from which everything comes and the sea where everything ends. You have created us in your image and likeness. May all our thoughts, words, and actions be always in accordance with your Most Holy Will.

You have given us, your servants, who profess the true faith, the grace to know the Glory of the Most Holy Trinity and to worship in the power of the divine majesty. Grant that, through our fidelity in this same faith, we will always be protected from all dangers. May we finally contemplate Thy sweet and divine Face in perfect union with Thee forever in heaven after having contemplated Your manifestation here on earth through the richness of our faith entrusted to us by Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, I come before Your divine majesty to pray and commend all troubled families, come to their aid both in this present life and in the world to come – eternal life (pause and add other intentions). 

Mary, Mother of the Church and my Mother, you who are in the most intimate union with the Most Holy Trinity, teach me to live in communion with the three divine Persons, so that my whole life may be a hymn of glory to the Father, to the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was, in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen (12 times).

Let Us Pray

Almighty and everlasting God, Who hast granted Thy servants in the confession of the True Faith, to acknowledge the glory of an Eternal Trinity, and in the power of Thy majesty to adore a Unity: we beseech Thee that by the strength of this faith we may be defended from all adversity. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. R. Amen.
