EFFECTIVE NOVENA TO THE HOLY GUARDIAN ANGELS: DAY 6

Opening Prayer:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as we approach Day 6 of this Novena to our Guardian Angels, we are filled with gratitude for the loving care and guidance they provide. We humbly ask that you grant us the grace to deepen our relationship with our Guardian Angels and to heed their gentle guidance. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Scriptural Reading and Meditation:
Read and meditate on Hebrews 1:14:

“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

Meditate on the role of angels as ministering spirits sent by God to serve and assist those who are on the path to salvation. Angels, including our Guardian Angels, are not passive beings but active participants in God’s plan for our spiritual journey. Visualize your Guardian Angel as constantly at your side, ready to guide and support you in your quest for salvation. They are your companions on the journey of faith, offering protection, inspiration, and divine assistance. Here are some points to consider:

1. 1. 1. Purpose of Angels: Begin by contemplating the purpose of angels as outlined in the scripture. Angels are described as “ministering spirits.” Visualize these celestial beings as messengers and servants of God, assigned to serve His divine plan and assist humanity.
      2. God’s Loving Care: Reflect on the message of God’s loving care for His children. God has provided us with angels as instruments of His love and grace. These ministering spirits are sent to guide, protect, and support us on our journey toward salvation.
      3. Guardian Angels as Companions: Focus on your own Guardian Angel as your constant companion on the path to salvation. Imagine them standing by your side, ready to offer their guidance and assistance whenever needed. Acknowledge their constant presence and commitment to your spiritual well-being.
      4. Inheritance of Salvation: Consider the idea that we are called to “inherit salvation.” Salvation is not merely a distant goal but a promised inheritance for those who follow Christ. Your Guardian Angel is there to aid you in this journey, ensuring that you are on the path to eternal life with God.
      5. Trust and Dependence: Ponder the trust and dependence we can place in our Guardian Angels. As ministering spirits sent by God, they are reliable guides and helpers. Reflect on moments in your life when you have felt their presence or guidance, and express your gratitude for their assistance.
      6. Cooperation with God’s Plan: Contemplate how your cooperation with your Guardian Angel’s guidance aligns with God’s plan for your life. Pray for the wisdom to discern and follow the promptings and inspirations they provide as you strive for holiness and salvation.

As you meditate on this verse, express your gratitude to your Guardian Angel for their unceasing presence and advocacy in your life. Consider establishing a deeper and more intentional dialogue with your Guardian Angel through prayer. Seek their intercession and guidance in your daily life, trusting that they are eager to assist you in fulfilling your ultimate destiny of inheriting salvation.

In this very context, utilize this moment to thank your guardian angel for offering that ONE petition you asked him to God. Thank him for interceding for you as your closest friend. Thank God in faith for the answered prayer, and believing God for your testimonies.

Concluding Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as we conclude this sixth day of our novena, we thank you for the gift of our Guardian Angels, who are ministering spirits sent by your divine providence to assist us on our journey to salvation. Help us to recognize and appreciate their presence in our lives and to be attentive to their guidance. May we always seek their intercession and be open to the ways in which they lead us closer to you. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Even if I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord is with me, He has sent my guardian angel to minister, guard, and protect me…
