O God, come to my aid+
R. O Lord, make haste to help me.
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
R. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we praise and thank you for the lives and missions of St. Peter and St. Paul, ardent apostles of Your beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. As you have enriched them with many graces and gifts, we ask you, Father, to meet our needs, both spiritual and material (ask for the grace you want to achieve). This we ask through the merits of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the intercession of St. Peter and St. Paul. Amen.
Scriptural Reading (1 Peter 5:1-11)
I urge the elders among you, as a fellow-elder myself and a witness to the sufferings of Christ, and as one who is to have a share in the glory that is to be revealed: give a shepherd’s care to the flock of God that is entrusted to you: watch over it, not simply as a duty but gladly, as God wants; not for sordid money, but because you are eager to do it. Do not lord it over the group which is in your charge, but be an example for the flock. When the chief shepherd appears, you will be given the unfading crown of glory. In the same way, younger people, be subject to the elders. Humility towards one another must be the garment you all wear constantly because God opposes the proud but accords his favour to the humble. Bow down, then, before the power of God now, so that he may raise you up in due time; unload all your burden on to him, since he is concerned about you. Keep sober and alert, because your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand up to him, strong in faith and in the knowledge that it is the same kind of suffering that the community of your brothers throughout the world is undergoing. You will have to suffer only for a little while: the God of all grace who called you to eternal glory in Christ will restore you, he will confirm, strengthen and support you. His power lasts forever and ever. Amen.
The Word of the Lord…
—PAUSE FOR A MOMENT OF MEDITATION—
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
DAY 9 PRAYER
Admirable Saint Peter, whose protection I humbly implore, as a solid foundation of my hope, may, through your intercession, make me feel the effects of Divine Mercy in the forgiveness of my sins and all the errors and faults of my life. Obtain for us the return of the strayed members of the Church; continual grace for the Holy Father, and all the clergy, and the spirit of perseverance in prayer for my poor soul. Above all, grant me a happy death and a place among heaven’s chosen ones to praise Him with you forever and ever. Amen. Holy St. Paul, you taught others about the saving message of Jesus, intercede for us with your colleague (Saint Peter) so that Christ may live in us. Help us to know and imitate you and your love for Jesus. It is through your writings that many people have come to know Jesus, may all people know and glorify God through your writings and intercession. In view of these prayers that I offer in your honour for nine days, We ask you to grant me in a particular way the following grace (make other particular requests). Amen.
Our Father…10 Hail Marys…Glory be… (For the return of the strayed members of the Church)

Let Us Pray
O God, who grants us the joy of celebrating St. Peter and St. Paul, the pillars of the Church, disciples, and missionaries of Jesus Christ, instill in us the faith that animated them and the courage and missionary zeal, to love more Our Lord Jesus Christ and make him loved and known to all. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen!
O holy Apostles, Peter and Paul, I choose you this day and forever to be my special patrons and advocates; thee, Saint Peter, Prince of the Apostles, because thou art the Rock, upon which Almighty God hath built His Church; thee, Saint Paul, because thou were fore-chosen by God as the Vessel of election and the Preacher of truth in the whole world.
Obtain for me, I pray you, lively faith, firm hope, and burning love; complete detachment from myself, contempt of the world, patience in adversity, humility in prosperity, attention in prayer, purity of heart, a right intention in all my works, diligence in fulfilling the duties of my state of life, constancy in my resolutions, resignation to the will of God and perseverance in the grace of God even unto death; that so, by means of your intercession and your glorious merits, I may be able to overcome the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, and may be made worthy to appear before the chief and eternal Shepherd of souls, Jesus Christ, Who with the Father and the Holy Ghost lives and reigns for endless ages, to enjoy His presence and love Him forever. Amen.
May the Divine assistance remain always with us, and may the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
Through the intercessions of St. Peter and St. Paul, may Almighty God bless + us, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Great job praying Day 9! Congratulations! May the good Lord hear our humble prayers. Amen
